Revision 29 July 2026Effective from the date of publicationApproved by the General Director
TEHNIKO LLC develops and manufactures equipment for the storage of biological material. The property of our products that determines their value is the preservation of samples over many years. A failure of the equipment devalues the result of years of work by a research team, and what is lost cannot be recovered. This circumstance defines our attitude to quality. 1.

1. Our commitments

  1. We design equipment on the assumption that an individual unit will fail. The task of the design is to ensure that the failure of a unit does not become the loss of a collection.
  2. We ensure that the products we manufacture comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation on the circulation of medical devices and with the terms of the registration certificates issued.
  3. We substantiate the characteristics we declare with test results, not with marketing wording. If a characteristic has not been confirmed, we do not declare it.
  4. We treat every quality enquiry as a source of data for improving the design, not as an occasion to look for someone to blame.
  5. We ensure traceability: for every unit released, the composition of components, the results of acceptance testing and the service history can be reconstructed.
  6. We support the equipment throughout its service life, including the availability of spare parts and technical support for the customer's personnel.

2. Principles of the quality management system

2.1. Orientation towards the conditions of use

Requirements for a product are formed on the basis of the actual operating conditions at the customer's site: the types of material stored, the requirements for temperature regimes, the characteristics of the site's power supply and the qualifications of the personnel. The configuration is selected to suit the task; the task is not adjusted to suit a standard configuration.

2.2. Risk management at every stage

We apply a risk-based approach to development and manufacturing. At the design stage, a failure mode and effects analysis is carried out; functions critical to the preservation of samples are duplicated by design. Priority is given to those measures that reduce the probability of an uncontrolled deviation of the temperature regime.

2.3. Validation instead of assumptions

Conformity of a product with the established requirements is confirmed by documented testing. A sequential qualification scheme is applied: installation, operational and performance qualification. The results are documented and handed over to the customer for inclusion in the customer's own quality management system.

2.4. Process approach

Development, procurement of components, manufacturing, acceptance testing, commissioning and service are described as interrelated processes with defined inputs, outputs and responsible persons. A change in one process is assessed for its effect on the others.

2.5. Qualification of suppliers

Components affecting the preservation of biological material are purchased only from suppliers that have passed assessment. We give preference to solutions whose availability does not depend on the external political situation, because our ability to service equipment for decades depends on this directly.

2.6. Competence of personnel

Employees whose work affects product quality hold the necessary qualifications and undergo training. Investment in research and development, amounting to between 15 and 30 per cent of revenue, also serves to maintain the engineering competence of the team.

2.7. Continual improvement

Data on the performance of equipment in operation, customer enquiries and the results of internal audits are analysed by management and serve as the basis for corrective actions and for design changes in subsequent production series.

3. Responsibility of management

3.1. The management of TEHNIKO LLC accepts responsibility for the effectiveness of the quality management system and provides it with the necessary resources.

3.2. Management ensures that this Policy is communicated to all employees and understood at every workplace.

3.3. Management guarantees that commercial considerations will not prevail over the requirements of safety and of the preservation of the customer's biological material.

3.4. The achievement of quality objectives is reviewed by management and serves as the basis for reviewing this Policy for continuing suitability.

4. Quality feedback

4.1. Reports of non-conformities and equipment failures, and proposals for improvement, are accepted at info@tehniko.pro and by telephone at +7 989 553 34 44.

4.2. Enquiries relating to the operability of equipment already in service are handled as a priority.

4.3. Information on adverse events associated with the use of a medical device is reported to the authorised body in the manner and within the time limits established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

5. Language of the document

5.1. This English text is a translation of the Russian original provided for the convenience of the reader. The Russian version is the version having legal force; in the event of any discrepancy between the texts, the Russian version prevails.
